Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Last week in Econ we played Pit. If you've never played before, you are missing out. There are cards with different commodities like corn, barely, oats, etc. The goal is to get all the same cards by trading. Players blindly trade (keeping their cards face down) by calling out the number of cards they want to trade with someone else. Cards to avoid: the bear and the bull. Once a player gets 9 of a kind, they ring the bell and the game ends. It is so fun! Lots of yelling and shouting and the best part is dinging the bell! One group asked me to play with them. I was hesitant because I get competitive but they insisted.
Side note: Sometimes my competitiveness gets the best of me. For example, over the summer at camp we had scooter races and I did everything I could to win against the 6 year olds. I think I have a problem.
Anyways, we started playing and I think I was the loudest one. Round after round, I kept losing and I was not happy.
Student: "Miss C, we've never seen this side of you before!"
Student: "It's ok, its just a game."

Me: "My supervisor is coming tomorrow so please be good."
Students: "We should be really bad so that way you can show him that you can control us!"
Me: "Um no."
Students: "Nope, its decided. That's what we're going to do."
Me: "If you guys are good I'll bring you a treat on Thursday."
Tomorrow we'll see if the bribery worked.

One of my senior classes tried to play a trick on me today. While they were doing trivia, I went to the office next door to the room to pick up something I sent to the printer. On the way back, I saw the whole class in the stairwell.
Me: "What are you guys doing?!"
Students: "Aw man! We thought you were coming from the other direction and then you wouldn't have seen us!"
Students: "How did you even know we were here?!"
Me: "Because I know all! And you guys weren't every sneaky...I walk right pass the stairwell to get back to the room."

Student: "Can we play kickball today?"
Me: "No."
Student: "Pleeease?! I've wanted to play kickball in class since freshmen year but its never happened!"
