Side note: Sometimes my competitiveness gets the best of me. For example, over the summer at camp we had scooter races and I did everything I could to win against the 6 year olds. I think I have a problem.
Anyways, we started playing and I think I was the loudest one. Round after round, I kept losing and I was not happy.
Student: "Miss C, we've never seen this side of you before!"
Student: "It's ok, its just a game."
Me: "My supervisor is coming tomorrow so please be good."
Students: "We should be really bad so that way you can show him that you can control us!"
Me: "Um no."
Students: "Nope, its decided. That's what we're going to do."
Me: "If you guys are good I'll bring you a treat on Thursday."
Me: "Um no."
Students: "Nope, its decided. That's what we're going to do."
Me: "If you guys are good I'll bring you a treat on Thursday."
Tomorrow we'll see if the bribery worked.
One of my senior classes tried to play a trick on me today. While they were doing trivia, I went to the office next door to the room to pick up something I sent to the printer. On the way back, I saw the whole class in the stairwell.
Me: "What are you guys doing?!"
Students: "Aw man! We thought you were coming from the other direction and then you wouldn't have seen us!"
Students: "How did you even know we were here?!"
Me: "Because I know all! And you guys weren't every sneaky...I walk right pass the stairwell to get back to the room."
Students: "How did you even know we were here?!"
Me: "Because I know all! And you guys weren't every sneaky...I walk right pass the stairwell to get back to the room."
Student: "Can we play kickball today?"
Me: "No."
Student: "Pleeease?! I've wanted to play kickball in class since freshmen year but its never happened!"
